Noe Gomez

July 16, 1952 — August 11, 2017

Noe Gomez, 65 of Bigfork MT passed away Friday, August 11, 2017 at his home. Noe was born July 16, 1952 in Los Angeles, CA to Pedro & Juanita ( Solorio) Gomez. He graduated from Montebello High School in 1970 and a graduate of Long Beach University. On September 21, 1974 Noe married the love of his life, Susan Martinez in San Pedro CA.

Noe worked for the State of Montana at Job Service for 19 years. He started many churches in various states of the US, including PA, FL, CA and MT. For 23 years he pastored Glacier Mountain Fellowship in south Kalispell. He also served as Chaplin for the Kalispell Police Department.

Noe  had a passion for winning souls for Christ, he loved people, there wasn’t a person he met that he couldn’t or didn’t talk to. His mantra was “Let’s make Jesus Famous”. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, but more than that he loved his grandchildren. His grandchildren were the light of his life, he was proud of each and every one of them.

Noe is survived by his wife of 43 years  Susan, his daughter, Angie Martinez of Long Beach, CA, his son Noe Mario Gomez, of Bigfork MT/Bakersfield CA and his grandchildren Britnee Ornelas, Aaron Martinez, Carissa Ornelas, Noe Esai Gomez Sunnee Gomez, son Luis (Cynthia) Cruz of Modesto CA, grandsons Louie Cruz and Joshua Cruz, and granddaughter Vanessa Noble, great-grandsons TJ Noble, Nolen Noble and great-granddaughter Jazzy Noble. Sisters, Betty Lopez, Velia Sanchez, Celia B aeza, Becky Solorio, Judit Head, Delilah Ejan, Dorothy Gonzales, Romona Rocha. Brothers, Abe Gomez, Marcos Gomez, Peter Gomez III. Noe was preceded in death by his parents, his son Stephen Gomez, brothers Pete Gomez II and Mario Gomez.

Noe will be fondly remembered by his family and friends as a loving husband, father and grandfather, pastor, chaplin, mentor and friend. A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 AM at Crossroads Christian Fellowship, 7465 MT Hwy 35, Bigfork MT 59911, Friday August 18, 2017. Burial will immediately follow service at Bigfork Community Cemetery.
