Olga B. (Busskohl) Adney, 93, passed away Sunday, Oct. 30, 2011, at Heritage Place in Kalispell.
Olga was born on Sept. 3, 1918, in Bloomfield, Neb., to William and Anna (Buhrmann) Busskohl. She was raised in Bloomfield, where she attended schools, graduating from Bloomfield High School in 1936.
Olga married Joseph H. Adney on Feb. 2, 1952, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Denver. Joseph passed away on Sept. 9, 1989. They were married for 37 years.
Olga worked as a secretary for the railroad, as well as a judge in Denver. She enjoyed cooking, as well as doing needlework. She was a lifetime member of the Lutheran Church.
Olga was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Anna Busskohl; her husband, Joseph H. Adney in 1989; and siblings.
She is survived by her sons, Joseph and wife Kristie Adney, and William and his wife Joanne Adney; and grandchildren, Meghan, Erin, Haley, Danielle and Emily.
A visitation will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. today, Nov. 1, at Buffalo Hill Funeral Home. Private family burial will be held at C.E. Conrad Memorial Cemetery. A celebration of her life will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 2, at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Kalispell.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Gideons or to Trinity Lutheran Church.
