Olga Eva Horak passed away June 10, 2015, in Kalispell.
She was born Jan. 18, 1943, in Prague, Czechoslovakia, and immigrated to the United States when she was 7 years old. She went back to Europe to work in France and Germany as a young woman.
Olga was trained as a graphic designer, living and working in the San Francisco Bay area for most of her career. She dreamed of coming to Montana and having horses; she arrived in Kalispell in 2000 and began to turn her dreams into reality.
She will be remembered for her love of animals, her smile and quick wit, and the stylish hats she wore. She will be missed.
Olga was preceded in death by her parents, Vladimir Horak and Eva Heidler Horak; and her sister, Vera Haire.
She is survived by her brother, John Horak, of Merriam, Kansas, a niece, two nephews, and their children.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
