Patricia Ann (Reed) Hays, 84, passed away March 28, 2018.
Pat grew up on a cattle ranch in Garfield County, Montana, and attended high school in Miles City.
She and Richard “Dick” Hays were married in 1952 in Miles City.
Dick was employed by the FAA in the air traffic division, which required them to live in several places in the Northwest, including five years in Alaska.
Pat worked as a photo colorist in Miles City for several years. The photos were of Western ranch scenes taken in the late 1800s and are displayed in several hotels around the Northwest. She also worked in the office at the Walla Walla, Washington, Elks Club for 15 years.
She had several hobbies over the years, but her most loved hobby was sewing. She made a lot of dress clothes for her and Dick, and especially dresses for little girls.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, and daughter Kay.
Survivors include her husband Dick, son Curtis of Olympia, Washington, and grandson Randy, granddaughter Rachael, and great-grandson Odin, all of Walla Walla.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 23, at Bethany Lutheran Church in Bigfork.
