Patricia Julia Porro, passed away of natural causes on March 8, 2016, in residence at Buffalo Hill Terrace in Kalispell. She was born to Edward Rea Funk and Mabel Keaster in Great Falls in April 1922. Patricia married John Anton Porro, son of Louis Porro and Hattie Jaraczeski of "Little Chicago” in January 1944 and soon after moved to a farm/ranch near Simms where they raised two daughters.

In the 1950's Patricia began work at Simms High School as Secretary and later as Librarian which endeared her to many students from the Sun River Valley. After retiring from ranching, she and John spent several years caravanning through the southern US and Mexico. After John passed away in 1981, she became an accomplished artist, spent time camping and gardening and learned to ski in her 60's. She had a quick smile, sharp wit, easy laugh and loved road trips

which she did well into her 80's. Many people much younger than she were inspired by her energy, curiosity and enjoyment of everyday life.

She is preceded in death by her brother, James E. Funk and daughter, Madalyn Moore. Lonnie Marie Porro resides in Whitefish.
