Patrick Libby

Patrick Allen Libby, 76,of Olney,  passed away on March 6, 2022 while sleeping peacefully at home.

Patrick was born July 7, 1945 in Portland, Maine. He loved football, fishing, stock car racing, softball, hunting and camping with his family.

Patrick graduated from Oxford Hills High School in South Paris, Maine. He worked in Lewiston, Maine until 1966. He then moved his family to Olney and went to work for American Timber Lumber Co. He was a member of the Olney Fire Department where he was the acting Fire Chief and Ambulance coordinator. He volunteered for the Kalispell Sheriffs Posse and was a Scout Master

He was preceded in death by his father Ernest A Libby, his mother Alice Libby, and his siblings Maggie Weber, Ernest O Libby, and Denny Libby.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Marion Libby. His siblings Patty Laverdiere, Teenie Culleton, Roger Libby, and Brenda Larsen. His children Wanda (David) Sparks, LeAnn Libby, Toni Sagen, Mike (Kim) Libby. His grandchildren Shanel Libby, Konnor & Treavor Hopewell, Ciera & Trevor Sparks, Mikhael & Amanda Payne, Alecia (Ron) Morgan, Mikhenzy Libby, Andrew (Bekah), Jessica & Matthew Sagen, Nicholas & Josie Libby. His great grandchildren Nikolas Sparks, Jaxon & Klaire Clark, Kassidy Libby, Aksel Christiansen, Tija Vialpando, Jayce & Jaylynn Payne, Marielle Vaughn, Amelia, Oliver & Olivia Sagen.
