Peggy Oskam

Peggy Jane Oskam age, 91 passed away on May 15, 2018 at her home in Kalispell, Montana surrounded by her family. Peggy was born on June 30, 1926 in Wenatchee, Washington to Glenn Leland Skelton and Maude E. Nelson.

Peggy married James “Bud” Oskam on November 23, 1950 in Renton, Washington they were married 58 years. She was often known as the life of the party. Peggy worked as an Elementary School Assistant and Flower/Plant Saleswomen. Her hobbies included crocheting, cooking, reading, and doing puzzles. She was active in Community Activities such as Dosedux, VFW Auxiliary, and VFW Cooties.

She is preceded in death by Her husband of 58 years James “Bud” Oskam and son Robert “Bob” Tigner

She is survived by her children Melvina Tigner of Spokane, WA, James ‘Jim” (Sheila) Tigner of VA, Philip(Chrissy) Oskam of Anacortes, WA, William “Billy”(Donna) Oskam of Lilliwaup, WA Tracy Oskam and Patty Niclai of Lilliwaup, WA, Sherry (Bruce) Strand of Kalispell, MT, Brother Mel Skelton of Wenatchee, WA ,dear friend Brenda Webber also of Kalispell, MT , 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held 1:00 P.M. Saturday May 19, 2018 at 111 Wettington Drive Kalispell, MT.  Memorials donations can be made to charity of choice.   The family would like to give a special thanks to Hospice.
