Raymond Herbert Knotts, Jr. died on January 17, 2015
Born February 13, 1947, the son of the late Raymond Herbert Knotts, Sr and Norma Louise (Long) Knotts.
A graduate of Fort Ashby High School, Class of 1965. After serving with the Army in Vietnam, his construction career lead him to CO, OK, WY, and later NC. He retired to Kalispell, MT to live his new dream of developing the Montana Mountain Horse. He was passionate about the outdoors and was a member of the Back Country Horseman. He relished time with his grandkids Addy and Nathaniel.
Ray is survived by his wife Carol, of forty-six years; his sons Matt, Cincinnati, OH, Clint and wife Carrie, Charleston, SC, and Benjamin, Kalispell, MT; brothers Rodney and wife Sharon, Barry and wife Gail, and Jeffrey; sister Lisa and husband Leo Day - all of Short Gap WV. Also, sunshine and firecracker grandkids, Addy and Nathaniel.
Memorial services will be held at Whitefish Baptist Church, 6232 US HWY 93 South, Whitefish, MT 59937 on Saturday January 24th at 2:00pm MST and at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church, Rte 956, Short Gap, WV. on Saturday January 31st at 11:00am EST.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers a donation be made to Calvary Chapel Flathead Valley, PO Box 747, Kalispell, MT 59903, or Wesley Chapel UMC, Rte 2, Box 421, Ridgeley WV 26753.
