Reuben Braaten

Reuben R Braaten, 73, passed away at The Springs in Whitefish on Wednesday May 30, 2019 after a long battle with cancer.

Reuben was born on December 14, 1945 in Wolf Point, MT to Irene and Howard Braaten.  In 1956, he moved with his family to Kalispell where they started a small family farm. He graduated from Flathead High School in 1964.  Shortly afterward, he enlisted into the army and served in Vietnam until 1969. Reuben had a passion for hunting, fishing, and the outdoors. Reuben is survived by his mother, his son, three grandchildren, two great grandchildren, one brother, and four sisters.

At his request, a celebration of life will be held in his honor on June 15th, 11:00 AM at Buffalo Hills Funeral Home in Kalispell, MT.
