Robert E. LaFrance, 85
Robert “Bob” Eugene LaFrance, 85 died on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 in Kalispell. He was born in Kalispell on April 22, 1929, the son of Joseph Hubert and Juanita Wilma (Hall) LaFrance. Bob married Norma Sanvik on May 6, 1950. In May of 1951 they welcomed their first daughter Vickie. In may 1956 their second daughter Rae Ann was born. Bob served in the Army from 1946 – 1949. He then joined the National Guard in 1949 and retired in 1989 as a Sergeant First class. Bob worked as a delivery driver for Petrolane delivering propane to the Flathead Valley. He retired after 19 years
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Norma; sister, Georgia LaFrance Akins; brothers Arthur G. LaFrance; William “Billy” LaFrance : and Hubert Junior “Frenchy” LaFrance; and daughter, Vickie Hamilton.
He is survived by daughter Rae Ann Evans and husband Brad, two sisters; Gay “Tootie” McKean and Bonnie Cash, five grandchildren; Nathan Evans and wife Lindsay, Aric Littlefield and wife Leslie, Andy Hamilton, Holly Howery and husband Casey, and Laura Christiana and husband Jeff and 12 great grandchildren. Also his special friend Joann Turner.
