Bob's father Charles, the fire chief of Kalispell, passed away when he was in elementary school leaving his mother to raise the three young children.
Bob graduated from Flathead High School in 1962, soon after he joined the Navy serving on the U.S.S. Barton in which he was very proud of.
After his service in the Navy Bob held various jobs such as pipe line surveyor in Alaska, taxidermist and co-owned The Rainbow Bar and Casino for several years with his dear friend Stew.

Bob loved working in his garden and took great pride in canning whatever he grew and sharing with just about anyone along with his many other recipes.
Bob had a love for the weather and if you needed to know what it was like on any given day well he could tell you from the many journals he kept.

Bob had a nickname for just about everyone he knew some pretty funny and some, well you know Bob!
Bob lived his life on his terms and could be ornery or have the biggest heart of gold and that's how we knew him and loved him. Bob was preceded in death by his father, mother and a nephew, Edo Orlandi.
