Robin (Jensen) Marvin, 68, was born in Kalispell on March 4, 1957, to Marlyn "Huz" Jensen and JoAnn (Warzeka) Jensen. After a brief illness she died in Creston on March 18, 2025. Robin was the light of the Jensen family — she simply got a big kick out of life.
Shortly after her birth, the Jensens moved to Butte where Robin attended St. Ann’s School. Her family moved back to Kalispell in 1965. She attended Edgerton, Hedges, Kalispell Junior High and Flathead High School. Her bubbly personality led to her serving as the class secretary for the Flathead Class of 1975.
It was also at Flathead High that a certain tall, blonde, curly-headed boy caught her eye, eventually leading to a long-term partnership and a 20-year marriage with Ron Marvin. Robin thoroughly enjoyed the benefits of joining Ron’s large family, loving his parents, his eight younger brothers and extended family just like they were her own.
After completing a certificate program at the Great Falls Vocational-Technical Center, she worked as a dental assistant for 40+ years, where thousands of patients benefited from her compassionate care, and her co-workers loved her for the joy she brought to her job every day.
She was known to orchestrate many shenanigans, from her childhood neighborhood to 173 N. Main Street and beyond. She delighted her beloved grandchildren by tubing Mill Creek with them and regularly volunteered as their class chaperone on St. Matthew’s field trips. She entertained her nephews by helping them build a potato gun that she then enjoyed shooting on her own. She enthusiastically joined her niece, Nina in tap dancing, and constantly hosted jubilant gatherings for her friends and family that often ended up around her fire pit with the hoopla stretching into the wee hours.
When Ron worked for an extended period in Sweden, she often visited him there, where she of course became fast friends with his Scandinavian co-workers. While there, she enjoyed side trips to Italy and England. Later on, she joined family on a river cruise in France and last fall took a cruise from Japan to Hong Kong.
Robin was preceded in death by her father, Marlyn "Huz" Jensen, her grandparents, Joyce and Edward Warzeka and Eileen Johnson, father-in-law, Charlie Marvin, and brother-in-law, Clay Marvin.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald Marvin, son, Zach Lindsay, mother, JoAnn Jensen, mother-in-law, Shirley Marvin, sisters, Tracey Dramstad (Dick), Laura Jensen (Paul Wagner) and Jackie Fenton (Jon); daughter-in-law, Kimi Lindsay, step-children, Angie McMichael (Devon), Josh (Melissa) Marvin, and Dustin (Kristy) Marvin, nephews, Eric (Emily) and Will Dramstad, and nieces, Nina Wagner and Alyssa Hinderman (Bryan), brothers-in-law, Shawn, Ken (LeAnn), Loren (Jamie), Zeno (Liz), Matt (Lori), Charles (Ann), and Mikey (Aimee); and her grandchildren, Marly, Scout, and Myles Lindsay and Jackson, and Travis Febbo.
