Roger Kenneth Lambertus Jr., 48, of Kalispell, "joyfully went to be with his Lord and Savior" on March 17, 2014.
He was born on May 2, 1965, to Gail and Roger Lambertus in Oakland, Calif., and at the age of 2 they moved to the Flathead Valley where he had since resided.
He courageously and graciously fought a long illness, in which time he was a great witness of his faith and positive affirmations. All those that knew Roger were inspired by his will to make every day count for the Lord and for his family. He loved that he was able to serve and attend Freshlife Church and his supportive small church group.
Roger was a "jack-of-many-trades" but his passion was traveling to promote concerts over 16 years of time. He was forced to retire in 2008 due to his illness.
Roger is lovingly survived by his wife, Kelly. He also leaves behind his service dog, Angel; as well as his daughter, Autumn Van Orden, and her husband, Chris Van Orden, along with their three children, NeVaeh, Aryanna and Carter; sons, Tyler Selke and Kenny Lambertus; sisters, Linda Chandler of Kalispell, and Jody and Melody; and a niece and nephew; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bill and Barbara Dye, of Kalispell.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
A celebration of Roger's life will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 29, at Cornerstone Community Church in Kalispell.
