Ronald Kent Dickinson, 57, passed away at his home on Sept. 7, 2016. Ron was born in Billings. He attended schools in Billings and Kalispell and graduated from Thompson Falls High School, where he participated in football and basketball. Ron worked in the logging industry until he was injured over 30 years ago.
Ron loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He told great stories to anyone who would listen to his adventures. His stories were always humorous and entertaining.
Ron’s wife, Mary, loved him unconditionally and took exceptional care of him for over 20 years.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joe and Gladise Dickinson, and Paul and Lillian Pabst.
He is survived by his wife, Mary; son, Jeremiah; granddaughter, Emily; parents, Bill and Eleanor; brother, David; sisters, Paula Dickinson, and Jennifer Anderson and her husband Bob; and numerous aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, and longtime friends Ken and Rita Peiffer.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, at the Salvation Army Center, 110 Bountiful Drive, Kalispell.
