Ronald Peters

Ronald Alan Peters, age 69,  passed away on June 2, 2018 with his life-partner Patricia Lawshe’ by his side, at Heritage Place in Kalispell, MT.

Ron  was born on June 27, 1948 in Omaha, Nebraska  to Donald and Elaine (Eickhoff) Peters. His childhood was spent on the family farm in Nebraska. He served 3 tours of duty in Vietnam with the Army Special Forces. He was an operator/engineer, heavy equipment operator, logger, and mechanic, to name a few – he was a jack of many trades.

Ron enjoyed Rock & Roll and Jazz music, he was a voracious reader (usually reading at least 2 books at a time), he enjoyed traveling with Patricia, riding his motorcycle, and had a particular love for his dogs. He worked hard, played hard, and loved with everything he had.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents, his son AJ, and grandsons Adler and Henry

He is survived by his life-partner of 23 years, Patricia Lawshe’, daughters Penny Carter of Iowa, Kym Lawshe’ (Marvin Loftis), and Melanie Reidinger (Mike) of Kalispell, and Jodi Marsh (Alfred) of Helena; sons Jon Peters (Courtney), Jed Lawshe’ (Kanisa), and Hawke Lawshe’ (Amanda) of Kalispell. He is also survived by his siblings, Chuck, Donna, and Mary of Nebraska. along with numerous nieces and nephews, 23 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

He lived life on his terms and he will be deeply missed. We love you Captain & Papa.
