Ronnie Joe Duncan

Dec. 22, 1942 – July 31, 2021

Ron Duncan went home to be with his Lord and savior, Jesus on July 31st while serving at YWAM and visiting family in Kalispell, MT.

He married Judy in 1961 in Guam, where he was serving in the Air Force. He attended Western Baptist College and Chico State University. He then moved to Whatcom County in Washington state. From there he founded his own business, Duncan Electric, as an electrical contractor and later worked in real estate with Windermere.

After 30 years in Washington state, they moved to Great Falls, Montana, and later in retirement moved to Sun City, Arizona.

Many days you could find him cruising the golf course with his buddies, both guys and gals. He was known for his passion for music and joined the local ukulele club, playing and singing for those who would listen. One way he outpoured his talent and love for music was to organize hymn sings for friends and family, to worship joyfully together.

Ministry was a high priority that God placed on his heart. He served joyfully for years with the youth and leaders at Young Life. He and Judy also served during the summer months at YWAM in Lakeside, Montana.

Family was a treasured priority for him. He and Judy organized Kuzins Kamp for 10 of their precious grandchildren. He planned activities and adventures that will always be cherished.

He leaves his wife Judy of 60 years, his son Dave and wife Sue of Lynden, WA, daughter Debbie and husband Craig Heine of Kalispell, MT, and son DJ and wife Tammy of Tieton, WA. He also leaves 16 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Celebration of his life is being planned by family for a later date. Friends are encouraged to visit our website at www.buffalohillfh.com to leave notes of condolences for the family. Buffalo Hill Funeral Home and Crematory caring for the family.
