Roxanna Dorothy Marie Menish, 61, passed away unexpectedly on June 7, 2017.
She had been married to Brent Menish for 29 years and mother to two daughters and two granddaughters.
Born in Kalispell on Feb. 23, 1956, she was the daughter of Pastor Gerald and Genevieve Schulze. When she was growing up she attended school in College Place, Washington, Orofino, Idaho, Sandpoint, Idaho, and Upper Columbia Academy in Spangle, Washington. In 1980 she moved to Great Falls and she and her parents started Roxi’s Rover Mobile Dog Grooming in 1981. It was the first business of its type in the state of Montana.
In 1988 she married her best friend and soul mate Brent Menish. In 1994 the business was sold and she relocated to Las Vegas. In 1997 she returned to Kalispell. In 1999 she began working as deli
manager at Village Greens Golf Course and worked there up until the time of her death.
She had many passions in her life. She loved to make beaded jewelry and silver jewelry, and enjoyed boating, painting, drawing, woodworking, fishing and spending time with her grandbabies and dogs. She also loved traveling and cruising.
Her compassion for others will always be remembered. She always thought of and took care of others before herself. She was the glue that held everyone and everything together. She was strong,
direct, independent and a person that many people leaned upon in hard times. Her absence is greatly felt by many and her big family productions on holidays will also be missed by many.
She was preceded in death by her brother Monte Schulze, her father Gerald Schulze, mother-in-law Gretchen Menish, and father-in-law Frank Menish.
Survivors include her husband Brent Menish, daughters Melina Murri and Magon Menish, mother Genevieve Schulze, sisters Melinda and Melanie Schulze, sisters and brothers-in-law Rebecca and August
Geryk and Deborah and Michael Menish, granddaughters Genevieve Murri and Sophia Russell, and sons-in-law Michael Murri and Kevin Russell. She has many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sept. 9 at the Village Greens Community Center located at 195 W. Nicholas in Kalispell. A small reception will follow.
