Sadie Ravan Miller, 89, passed away on Friday, March 29, 2013, at Kalispell Regional Medical Center. She was born on June 8, 1923, in Braggs, Okla., to M.C. and Alpha (Smithson) Smith. She was raised in Fort Gibson, Okla.
Sadie worked for most of her life as a very good waitress at numerous restaurants in the valley and made many, many friends in doing so. She loved working in her flower garden, spending time at their cabin in Swan Lake and truly loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and a son.
Sadie is survived by her husband Jake Miller; son Gil Ravan; daughter Jan Tetzel; step-daughters Pam Holstrom, Marcey Seymour and Karen Landis; step-sons Eric Miller and Fred Miller;15 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 2, from 4-7 p.m. at Buffalo Hill Funeral Home. A celebration of life service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, April 3, at Buffalo Hill Funeral Home with the Rev. Tim Bartholomew officiating. Burial will follow at C.E.
