Shirley Jean Peters, 43, passed away Saturday, March 15, 2014.
She was born June 24, 1970, in Brainerd, Minn.
Shirley met her husband from a newspaper ad she had placed, and the first night they spoke for eight hours. At the end of the conversation she told him that she knew she was going to marry him. They met at the Burger King in Chippewa Falls, Wis., the next day and had been together ever since. Shirley said that she and Robert were like peanut butter and jelly - terrific together and impossible to tear apart.
Shirley and Bob shared a love for the mountains that brought them from Wisconsin to Wyoming, then to Idaho, and finally Kalispell. Anyone who knew them saw them as true soulmates.
The loss of Shirley will be felt by everyone who came to know her. You could not know Shirley and not love her.
"Bobby's angel is now God's angel."
Shirley is survived by her loving husband Robert, and three daughters, Chelsea, Amber and Autumn. She is also survived by her mother, Helen, in Chippewa Falls.
Private family services will be held.
