Steven R. Jones (Jonesy) age 57, of Hungry Horse Montana passed away peacefully of natural causes on Sunday June 7, 2015.
Steven was born on July 29, 1957 to Jim R. and Annette Jones in Flint Michigan. The family moved to Jackson Michigan in 1972 and still reside there.
Steven is survived by his son Jason Jones, and step-daughter Rosie Glass and her children all of Columbia Falls, Montana.
Steven is also survived by his parents Jim and Annette Jones, sister Lori Dillon and her children, sister Linda Halasz and her husband Paul. Steven has one son in Jackson Michigan, Jacob (Jake) Jones, and his son Easton Jones.
Steven moved from Michigan to Montana in the mid 80’s and fell in love with the mountains and the beauty. He loved to hunt and fish and enjoyed being outside among nature and was a huge animal lover. Steve had many friends both in Michigan and Montana and enjoyed spending time with them, he was always joking and laughing. He loved to have fun and was always ready for a party! When life threw him a curve ball, he was positive and “moved forward” through it. He truly walked his own path and let nothing stand in his way. Steven was one of a kind, his spirit will be greatly missed.
Per Steven’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Steven’s Life will be planned for later this summer both in Montana and Michigan. Details will be available later. In lieu of flowers, contributions for “Jonesy’s” final arrangements would be appreciated and can be forwarded to Jason Jones, P.O. Box 190735, Hungry Horse MT 59919.
