Sue Nicholson died at the age of 69. She passed gently in the company of her friends and family in her home, the way she wanted to. Born Ina Sue Werner in 1947 in Wichita, Kansas. She was the youngest child of Cleve and Ruth Werner
Sue is preceded in death by her parents Cleve and Ruth Werner, Brother Cleve C. Werner Jr., Nephew Timothy Werner and Niece Tammy Werner Leitschuck.
She is survived by her Husband Stan Ogdahl, Brother Vernon “Buddy”(wife) Linda Werner, Son Charles (wife) Teddi Johnson, Daughter Lorrie Smith, Grandchildren Jacob, Rachael and Sean (wife) Laua’e, Great Grandson Noa.
She did not have an easy life and worked with her hands and mind to better herself and her situation. She was one of the first women to rise from the production floor of Boeing Aircraft to Project Planning and Engineering. She did so be putting herself through school working full time and taking night classes and still finding time to provide for two children as a single mother.
Sue would be the first to tell you she was no saint. She battled a life of addiction and alcohol entering a clean and sober life in 1983. From that point on she made it her life’s work to help others out of addiction. For Sue there were no strays not worthy of her help whether two legs or four. She believed in tough love sometimes painfully so. She was instrumental in improving the lives of many with her experience, strength and faith.
She shared her passion and faith openly so others could come to know our Lord Jesus Christ.
