Susan Hylton

Susan Irene “Sue” Hylton of Bigfork, Montana passed away on February 11, 2025, at age 81. Mourning her loss are her daughter Christy and son-in-law Evan White, son Travis and daughter-in-law Ariel Hylton, grandchildren Ayla Hylton, Perrin Hylton, Savannah Carpenter, Cade and Ava White, two great-grandsons, and niece Heather Banaszek. Sue is preceded in death by her husband Boyce Dwayne “Wayne” Hylton, her parents Irene and Louis Mann, and her brother Michael Mann. Sue was born on July 4, 1943 in San Francisco, California. She graduated high school in 1960 in South San Francisco, California, and later in life completed the Paralegal program at the College of the Sequoias in Visalia, California. She met the love of her life Wayne Hylton of Lemoore, California and they married on April 10, 1965. Their homes in Tulare, California and Bigfork, Montana allowed them to live as seasonal “snowbirds.” They enjoyed hobbies like photography, bowling, and pocket watch trading together. She was also an avid knitter and often crocheted blankets and scarves for family and friends.
