Sydney Lynn Canady, 60, of Columbia Falls, formerly of Las Cruces, N.M., "went to be with the Lord" on Thursday, Oct. 17, 2013.
Sydney was born Dec. 31, 1952, in Las Cruces to Marge and Sidney Coleman.
She married Casper "Chopper" Canady on June 2, 1995, in Los Banos, Calif.
Sydney was preceded in death by her father, Sidney Coleman.
She is survived by her husband of 18 years, Chopper; children, Aimee and Brian Rohn, and Andrew and Sarah Summers, all of Kalispell, and Tony and Lisa Summers of Phoenix; mother, Marge Coleman of Las Cruces; sister, Debbie Apodaca; brothers, Ray, Tom, Paul and Ted Coleman; eight stepchildren; and 42 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 1 at Buffalo Hill Funeral Home in Kalispell.
