Taylon fought an extremely courageous battle with cancer and came out the winner on the night of Dec. 17, 2015. He was surrounded by his family and so many of his amazing friends. A true warrior to the very end, he inspired everyone with his positive attitude and drive for life.
“He’s finally running again, but instead of a ball field, he’s now running on streets of gold.”
We were blessed to have Taylon come into our lives on Nov. 22, 1997. He was born in Kalispell and attended Edgerton Elementary School, Kalispell Middle School and was currently a senior at Flathead High School. Taylon was planning on attending Montana State University after graduation. Although he didn’t get to graduate and go on to college to do great things, he lived a very fulfilling life.
He had an athletic talent and was very active in sports until his cancer diagnosis cut it all too short. Taylon was diagnosed with osteosarcoma during the Lakers baseball tryouts his sophomore year.
Taylon had a truly unique personality which naturally attracted others. He was tough, stubborn and determined. Whatever Taylon did in life, he approached it at full speed and on his terms. He had a fierce love for his friends and nothing could come between that.
He was an amazing son and a wonderful big brother. His younger brothers looked up to him and adored him. Taylon seemed to inspire others by his effortless approach to life. He gave people a reason to be happy just by being near him and he impacted each and every one of their lives.
He is loved and remembered by all who knew him. He is survived by his parents Darren and Susanne, his brothers Dalton and Gavon, and grandparents John and Judy Cogar, and Dick and Sharon Roseburg. Taylon will never be forgotten and he is forever in our hearts.
As our hearts break with sadness, we have a peace that surpasses all understanding.
“Taylon is now in heaven enjoying God’s brilliant perfection.”
A viewing of Taylon will be held from 1 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 23, at Buffalo Hill Funeral Home. His funeral is still being planned with burial services to follow at C.E. Conrad Memorial Cemetery. We welcome all to attend these celebrations of Taylon’s life.
