Thomas K. Dyer, 69, passed away Jan. 28, 2014, in Kila, due to cancer.
He was born June 1, 1944, in Haldeman, Ky., and raised in Shiloh, Ohio. He graduated from Plymouth High School.
Tom had been employed as the director of maintenance at Flathead Valley Community College.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman, loved to garden and loved horses and wilderness pack trips.
Tom is survived by his father, Kermit Dyer, of Shiloh; children, Tom Dyer of Moorcroft, Wyo., Amy Long of Bexley, Ohio, Julie Dyer of Ashland, Ohio and Alora Dyer of Kila; stepdaughter, Jessie Zarmon, of Kalispell; grandchildren, John Long and Olivia Long of Bexley, and Fiala Zarmon of Kalispell; and brothers and sisters, Charlotte Green of Franklin, Tenn., and Joan Estes and Myra Cordney, both of Shiloh.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Elva Dyer; and brother, Gary Dyer.
A viewing will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 31, at Buffalo Hill Funeral Home, and the family will speak at 6 p.m. Burial will be in Shiloh.
