Tracy Ivey

June 29, 1962 — October 13, 2021

Kalispell

Tracy Rochelle Ivey, age 59, passed away at Logan Health Medical Center October 13, 2021 after complications with COVID-19 ended her fight with terminal illness.

Tracy was born June 29, 1962 in Pasadena, Texas to Tommy and Barbara (Brant) Tadlock. Not one to be held back even at a young age, Tracy’s upbringing can’t be pinpointed to one place as she was a gypsy of the earth. Tracy took pride in her Native American heritage. She saw the beauty in life and tried to share that with others; in the jewelry she made, make-up tutorials, and the many other creative ways she experienced life’s beauty, although nothing gave her more joy than all her grandchildren. She played a very active role in their lives.

Great and powerful things come in small packages, like dynamite and Tracy Ivey. She wasn’t afraid to stand up for herself, her loved ones and what she believed in. with a wild heart and gypsy soul, she loved just as fiercely as she fought. Tracy Ivey was a fighter to the end.

Tracy is preceded in death by her husband James “Greg” Ivey, parents Tommy and Barbara Tadlock, brother Roger Tadlock and sister Donna Baker. She is survived by her partner Patrick Vittori of Kalispell, Daughter Jewel Wilson of Kalispell, Daughter Heather Hodges and her husband Steven of Sevierville, Tennessee, daughter Crystal Gregory and family, and grandchildren Jarred Taylor, Sioux Taylor, Steven Hodges II, Olivia Hodges, Trevor Wilson, Shylo Taylor, and Percephany Brummett.

Tracy’s daughters will be holding a Celebration of Life, date to be determined. She was cremated as she wished. Friends are encouraged to visit our website at buffalohillfh.com to leave notes of condolences for the family. Buffalo Hill Funeral Home and Crematory is caring for the family.
