Verna Parks

Verna Parks age 88, passed peacefully into Heaven on Saturday, March 3, 2018
due to natural causes. She was born on October 2,1929 and was raised in East
Smithfield PA.She is survived by her brother Neil (Pat) Bolster, her
children, Jeannette (John) Tomlinson, Kathy Blow, Kathleen Meehan, Mike
(Sandy) Meehan, Jo Ann (Max) Edington, David (Angie) Meehan, and Tammie
(David) Storrs. 28 grandchildren 25 great grandchildren and 6 great, great
grandchildren. Verna owned and operated a personal care home for the elderly
for many years. She loved to study the word of God and held a weekly bible
study up until her death. One of her final life accomplishments was
publishing her first book of poems entitled "I Touched The Hand of
Jesus".Verna was a loving sister, mother, and grandmother  She will be
