Vickie A. Normile, 55, passed away March 9, 2013, at her Columbia Falls home, from cancer.
Vickie was born in Red Lodge on Dec. 17, 1957, to James and Katie (Escro) Monahan. She grew up in Roberts and Red Lodge.
She married James Normile in Red Lodge in 1978 and had been married for 35 years. Vickie was a longtime employee with Sportsman and Ski Haus in Kalispell. She enjoyed gardening, hiking and exploring pictographs and petroglyphs.
Vickie was preceded in death by a son, Mason Normile.
She is survived by her husband, James, of Columbia Falls; sons, Aric and Cory Normile, of Bozeman; brothers, Tim and Cathy Monahan of Buffalo, Wyo., and Bill and Joanne Monahan of Butte; sister, Paulette, and John Piccin, of Roberts; two grandchildren, Ashlyn Marie and Logan Patrick; father-in-law, Mick Normile, of Whitefish; sister-in-law, Becky, of Whitefish; brother-in-law, John, and Cathy Normile, of Cedar City, Utah; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Private ceremonies will be held at a later date.
The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Columbia Falls Food Bank, 82 Railroad St., Columbia Falls, MT 59912.
