Violet Cleyola Brewer Morrow passed away Oct. 1, 2011, in Kalispell.
Violet was born in Milltown, Pa., to Howard and Emma Brewer. They moved to Montana when Violet was a small child and lived on a farm where her father's family lived in Eagle Butte.
Violet married Tom Morrow on Dec. 23, 1934, in Fort Benton where they both worked. They moved around some due to Tom's jobs until 1948 when they moved back to Kalispell, where they made their home.
Tom and Violet were married more than 60 1/2 years when Tom passed away on Sept. 11, 1995.
Violet is survived by her son, Warren T. Morrow, of Prudhoe Bay, Alaska; daughter, Beverly Rasmussen, and husband, Dennis, of Kalispell; four grandsons, Tom Rasmussen of Fairbanks, Alaska, Rick Rasmussen and wife Mindie of Kalispell, and Grant Rasmussen and Scott Rasmussen of Kalispell; three great-grandsons, three great-granddaughters; two great-great-granddaughters; and one great-great-grandson.
The family would like to thank Greenwood Assisted Living and Frontier Hospice for their wonderful compassionate care of our mother.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 6, at Riverside Cemetery in Fort Benton.
