Virgil Fisher

Virgil Lewis Fisher, age 89, passed away on Wednesday October 17, 2018 at Brendan House in Kalispell, Virgil was born on July 20, 1929 in Kalispell, MT to Guy and Edna (Null) Fisher

He was raised in the Bissel community and  he  graduated with a B.S  in Education from Western College in Dillon, MT. Virgil was a School teacher, farmer, Logging and self-employed.

Virgil’s hobbies were hunting and fishing. Virgil was preceded in death by his parents, a son and daughter, and 3 sisters.

Virgil is survived by his children Hal Fisher of Whitefish, Linda (Jim) Fay of Sammamish, WA .7 grandchildren 2 great grandchildren , 5 nieces and 2 nephews.

A Celebration of Virgil’s life will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday October 27, 2018 at the Bissel School Gymnasium with a reception following the services. Family suggest memorials be made to the Meals on wheels program.
