William Rolla "Sweet William" Farrington, 74, "went to the loving arms of his wife, Beverly," on June 24, 2013, at home in Kalispell, from natural causes.
He was born May 25, 1939, in Kalispell. He graduated from Flathead County High School in Kalispell and attended trade school.
Bill served in the United States Marine Corps from July 17, 1957, until his honorable discharge May 1, 1960.
He married Beverly Joyce in 1961 in Idaho. They had 44 wonderful years together.
As a professional plumber, Bill traveled and worked across the United States.
He enjoyed fishing, RVing with his great-grandson and spending time with his family. Bill supported many veterans organizations, including the veterans pantry.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly; daughter, Jacqueline; father, Robert Farrington; and mother, Glada Walbon.
Bill is survived by his granddaughter who was raised as a daughter since infancy, Sabrina, and husband, George Miller, of Kalispell; great-grandchildren, Micheal, Dominick and Viktoria; brother, Jim Farrington, and Rosemary, of Illinois; nieces, nephews and many friends.
Memorials may be made to veterans organizations, Toys for Tots, or the donor's choice.
A family gathering will be held at a later date.
